I am an entrepreneur and business leader currently overseeing the international territories for the largest nature adventure operator in the Caribbean. I believe in order to build strong teams within an organization, employee engagement, motivation and good communication are key which will not only lead to a solid operational performance, but also give the company its competitive edge.
Being a practical person, I decided early on in my career to develop my skills through learning on the job across various restaurants in my hometown of Cape Town, South Africa. I trained across all levels within the hospitality industry, working my way up to management level after which, I took some time away from restaurants to charter yachts in the Caribbean, with my now wife, as a Captain and Chef duo. The move back home saw the start of my entrepreneurial journey in owning my first restaurant with my wife and my parents. which later led me to launch two new concepts, one take-out and one eat-in, and expand them successfully through the suburbs of my hometown. In between all this I would say the biggest challenge I faced was bringing my 2 crazy children into the world and raising them in and around the service industry. Looking back, I wouldn't change it, but hats off to working parents everywhere.... no matter the industry!
My family’s love for travel, experiencing new things and different cultures saw us pack up our lives, move to the UK and try our hands in the travel and tourism industry, where I am today. My passion for achieving in business has helped me complete my MBA from the prestigious University of Birmingham - during which my eyes were really opened to all the moving cogs in business... and where the fun really begins.

By far my greatest accomplishment is calling this crazy bunch my family. None of who I am or what I have accomplished could have been achieved without them.
This is where it all began and the foundation for this all. Okay, maybe it started a little bit earlier, but this was essentially where the first building blocks were laid and the journey began.
